Homemade PSL syrup that you can *legit* put on everything.
This is not a recipe blog where I tell you the entire history of PSL.
Here's how to make this cute little gift for all your basic besties.
What's in the Syrup?
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2/3 pumpkin puree, canned or fresh if you're super ambitious
- 12 ounces sweetened condensed milk, canned
- 1/2 teaspoon homemade pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How to make it?
- Combine sugar and water in a small pot on the stove over medium heat.
- Once the sugar has dissolved and the simple syrup reaches a boil, turn the heat down to low.
- Add pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin pie spice and salt to the syrup mixture on the stove.
- Stir all ingredients together on low heat until the syrup thickens.
- Remove from heat and let the pumpkin latte syrup cool.
- Store in cute little jars, I found these at the dollar store for $1.
Make some extra jars, write a little note, add a pumpkin spice pun and a sunflower and you're golden.
Lets not complicate things. 🍁🎃🌻
