🧡 Stay Golden 🧡 Iced Latte

Made with Espresso, Milk, Banana, Turmeric and Ginger Essential Oils.

Move over Pumpkin Spice Lattes! Golden Lattes are a sweet, creamy and spicy twist to your regular latte, that will help you ease into golden hour this summer. I chose to make mine cold today, but you can also make this into a hot latte for cooler weather. The Turmeric and Ginger essential oils are the key ingredients here. They give a HUGE burst of flavor and tons of health benefits! You can also use ground turmeric if you don`t have the oils handy.

Prep Time:5-10 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:
1 cup of milk (your choice of dairy, oat, almond or cashew)
½ frozen banana
½ of honey or maple syrup (optional to sweeten)
1–2 drops of turmeric essential oil
1–2 drops of ginger essential oil
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
Ground turmeric for garnish
1-2 shots of your favorite brewed espresso, I used Canal Roasters Grand Trunk (cooled down)
Ice cubes (or frozen coffee cubes if you're fancy like I am)

Instructions:
In a blender or magic bullet, combine milk, banana, honey (or maple syrup) and ground spices.
Blend until smooth
When finished blending, add the turmeric and ginger essential oil, stir the ingredients.
Pour your coffee into a jar or glass, and then add the creamy mixture on top. Sprinkle a little bit of turmeric on top for that golden effect!

I discovered this recipe from my dear friend Solmaz who is THE essential oils go-to-lady! She introduced me to essential oils 3 years ago and honestly... I just love them, and her! It feels good to support your friends and their passions. I use lavender on a daily basis to help me sleep, and other oils for digestion, bloating and for my super pleasant panic attacks during Covid 🤦🏻‍♀️. Here`s some more info on turmeric and ginger from Doterra, if you`re into it!
